He frequently presents and writes on the topic of landsmanshaftn -immigrant social benefit societies for compatriots of the same hometown or region. These organizations often bought sections of cemeteries for their members and are places where descendants come to honor and learn from them. Avrohom has joined tours and pilgrimages to Jewish cemeteries in the U.S. and across Poland, Lithuania, Ukraine and Israel. This presentation will introduce Jewish cemeteries and share some ordinary and extraodinary experiences related to Jewish cemeteries.
