Each song relates a tragic narrative that has been spun out of real life events. In this first episode they will delve into the Ballad of Omi (Naomi) Wise; Omie’s ballad is especially tragic as she was a woman who really lived and lost her life to a man who promised to make an honest woman of her, but in the end chose to take her life instead.
